George was a few minutes ahead of our window which was perfect. He informed us that the torquemaster spring system was builder grade and does not last as long as the torsion spring system. Because he has seen them last as long as 8 years, he gave us the option of the maintenance or converting. He also let us know that if we chose the maintenance it would be money well spent because the difference in replacing later vs. now was a minimal difference.

We bought a new home with a 2 car garage and a garage door opener. I’ve never had an automatic door opener so didn’t know what to do when it wouldn’t close the door. I found the manual the previous home owner left but couldn’t determine the issue so discovered how to manually close it. Phew. I found Precision through Google, called them and they came out the next day. My Tech, Frank, was easy to work with and a wealth of information. Through all my newbie questions he remained professional and never made me feel dumb for asking them. His years of experience were evident. He gave me maintenance tips to prolong the life of my opener and door, told me what to for if the opener started acting up again and left me with a feeling that I called the right company for the job. I’m very pleased with the service I just received from Precision Door Service. Everyone from the customer service rep to the garage repairman (Hayden) was very professional and great to work with. I called with an issue and had service at my front door within 30 minutes – that is extremely rare for any type of service call. Hayden quickly diagnosed the issue and made the repair quickly and safely. I give my strongest possible recommendation to use this company for any garage door needs.

Mike Danforth arrived ahead of time and quickly sized up the issue — frayed cables and a broken spring. We ended up replacing springs, cables and rollers on two of the doors, which he accomplished quickly and efficiently even while waiting on a resupply of some of the needed material. Not cheap, but I wasn’t surprised. Mike is personable, polite and knows his business. Very satisfied with his service.

Precision came out the next day after we called and completed the job which included two new springs, rollers and other things in a short period of time.
